Christmas Sing Along
On the last day of school before our Christmas break we had a whole school Christmas sing-along.  It was lots of fun!  We all met in the gym and sang our favorite Christmas carols.  Each grade got to go out in front of the other classes and sing their special song for everyone.  The kindergarteners sang Jingle Bells, the first graders sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and the second graders sang Rudolph, with a special visit from the reindeer in that song. We sang and signed many of the songs together.  Zachary Stepp played Oh Christmas Tree on the piano and Mr. Manick’s class sang the Twelve Days of Christmas for us.  Fred Mayville said, “I enjoyed it and would like to do it again next year”!

The Ballet
We had a chance to see the Northern Dance Academy perform a ballet for our whole school. We rode a bus out to the High School on December 14 to see it.  We saw the French ballet, The Young Boy and the Enchantments.  We saw some of our brothers, sisters, and friends dancing in the ballet.  It was cool! Macaylla’s favorite part was when the beautiful princess danced.  Monica liked when the table overturned and everything fell off, and Chloe liked when the ashes came dancing out of the fire!

Mrs. Manick reads with a student at Seasons Readings. Parents and Teachers took time during the busy season to stop and read with a child.
