Oscoda Community Education responds to the changing needs of our community by offering education and recreational opportunities to people of all ages. We believe in the philosophy of life-long learning.
Otters Swim Club - competitive age group swim club for ages 5-18
Otters registration and parent meeting will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the OHS Commons
Oscoda Wrestling Club - for students between the ages of 5 and 14
Oscoda Youth Wrestling registration will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the OHS Commons. You can download the registration packet, fill out the forms, and bring them with you on December 2nd. Registration fee is $40 pr wrestler. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

High Points Kids Club
A Character building program for students in Grades K through 6 - meets at RES on Mondays, 3:00-4:30 p.m.
5-week sessions throughout the school year
Little Picassos - Exploring art and self expression. You and your young child (infant through pre-school) are inited to join us and have fun creating and exploring different forms of art materials. Space is limited. Class will be held on Mondays October 20, November 3, November 17, December 1 & December 15, 2014. Instructor - Amy Gallahar. Registration fee $22 for 5 weeks or $5 for drop-in if space allows.

Water Exercise - Structured water exercise class with instructor Ruth Armstrong - OHS Pool - Mondays and Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. beginning Monday, September 29, 2014 - $4
Open Swim - OHS Pool is available for open swim from 3:00-4:30 p.m. on Sundays October 19, November 2, 23, December 7, 2014, January 11, 25, February 8, 22, March 8, 22, April 19, 2015 - $3. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult
Yoga - Thursdays beginning October 16, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. Cedar Lake Elementary Room 10. $25 per month or $8 for walk-in. Instructor - Elizabeth McNichols, Harrisville Yoa, LLC. Yoga will be moving to Wednesdays beginning December 3, 2014.
Country Line Dance - A great way to exercise, have fun, and meet new people - RES - Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m. - $2
Tae Kwon Do - Taught by Richard Roche, a 3rd degree black belt instructor certified by the International Tae Kwon Do Association - Mon. & Fri. - 6:00-7:30 p.m. - RES MPR - $3
Karate - Taught by William Ratzlaff - Tues. & Thurs. at Cedar Lake Elementary beginning November 18, 2014. Children 5-11 years of age meet from 5-6 p.m. Adults and children 12 & up meet from 6-8 p.m. Fee: $25.00 per month.
Golden Age Passes
Golden Age passes are available to district residents age 60 and up.

Walk-in Stop by the Oscoda Community Education office located in the Board of Education office in
Oscoda High School during regular hours: 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

a class must be cancelled because of low enrollment, we will make every
effort to contact you.
1. A full refund will be issued for any class cancelled by Community Education.

Requests for refunds for a one-time class must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the class. Requests for refund for a series of classes must be made before the second class meets.
A $25 fee will be assessed for any check returned for insufficient funds, or for any check written on a closed account.
