Dear Families,

CETUSA has been a trusted leader in international high school student exchange for more than 20 years. CETUSA partners with schools like Oscoda Area Schools to educate community members about intercultural exchange opportunities. However, today’s CETUSA is so much more than international high school exchange. Together with schools, CETUSA is bringing global competencies through intercultural learning and key 21st century skills such as cross-cultural collaboration and communication to students, teachers and the greater community.

Through our hosting program, CETUSA welcomes international students from multiple countries, who come to study in high schools, live with host families, and contribute to school and community life in the US. I invite Oscoda families to host a CETUSA Exchange Student for the 2019-2020 school year. Hosting an international student means more than providing a bed and meals. As a CETUSA Host Family, you'll transform your own community while learning about a new culture. You'll also help a young person discover the U.S. right from your home. Any kind of family can host, and you'll have a local CETUSA coordinator to support you throughout your experience.

Host families are asked to provide meals at home, a bed, occasional transportation, and a loving home. Students arrive with health insurance and monthly spending money for things such as sports fees, school fees, travel expenses, clothing hygiene products, etc.

Please contact me at 989.254.7717 or with any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you and welcoming more exchange students in 2019-2020!
Who will be your new son or daughter?

Warm Regards,

Amy Nordin
