Alternative Education
Our Mission
This mission of the Oscoda Alternative Education Program, located at County Line School, is to provide a safe environment in which each student has sufficient opportunity to learn how to take intelligent, ethical action and to accomplish the goals of his\her educational program.
The Alternative Education Program at County Line is designed for students between the ages of 16 and 20, who, for a variety of reasons find it difficult to be successful in the regular high school setting. Advantages:
Smaller Class Size
More one-on-one help
Individualized study program
Use of non-traditional teaching methods
Programs to earn extra credit, such as EDS Testing and Correspondence Courses
Alternative Education Students may attend activities scheduled by Oscoda High School, such as dances and athletic activities.
