Goal 4: To Integrate Technology Into the Management of the District, School, and Classroom.
This
plan will ensure the integration of technology to support productive systems for
learning and administration.
Develop,
implement, and monitor policies and guidelines to ensure compatibility of
technologies.
Implement
and use integrated technology—based management and operations systems.
Allocate
financial and human resources to ensure complete and sustained implementation of
the technology plan.
Integrate
strategic plans, technology plans, and other improvement plans and policies to
align efforts and leverage resources.
Implement
procedures to drive continuous improvement of technology systems and to support
technology replacement cycles.
Administrative/Management
programs or applications to be developed or upgraded in Oscoda Area Schools:
Student Management System (CIMS) for teachers. The Office staff at each
building currently uses CIMS for student information.
K-12 teachers currently do attendance on CIMS.
Grades 5-12 do graphical grading through CIMS.
Grades K-5 also do Standards Based Report Cards through CMT/CIMS. The
CMT will eventually be incorporated
at the Middle School and High School levels..
Lunch program is automated in all buildings except Glennie Elementary
Credentialing information (NCA Transitions) maintained as part of report
cards and/or student management system.
Transitions information maintained electronically.
My Dream Explore for scheduling of classes for High School.
Scheduling by all buildings.
