Happy Wednesday! Chester couldn't wait to share some pictures from his past week. He was able to enjoy a local campground and he loved it! He loved getting to run and play. He especially loved the dog park obstacle course. He hopes that you are also enjoying the fresh air. He can't wait to see you again! Here are some other notes from Chester: *Chester is back in the building for the 20/21 school year. The school offices are open. Feel free to stop in to complete an enrollment packet or call the offices if you have any questions. *Chester is looking forward to seeing the students again. He knows he may need to pop into some online classrooms to be able to see students who will be online. He wants all students to know that he will make it work so that students who could use some Chester time either in person or online will get to see him periodically. Stay safe! Stay healthy! Go Owls!

It has come to our attention that an asymptomatic (showing no symptoms) individual that attended our graduation ceremony on June 28th, 2020 at the Oscoda High School Football Field has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. In coordination with District Health Department Number 2, Oscoda Area Schools is advising all attendees to self-monitor and if any symptoms present, please contact your primary care provider or District Health Department Number 2 at (989) 362-6183 to arrange for a test. If symptoms do not appear within 14 days there is nothing to be done. We have been advised that self-quarantine is not necessary. We appreciate your time and attention with regard to this matter.
Happy Wednesday! Chester has already been outside enjoying the sunshine. He wanted to make sure to send out some reminders today. *For RES students who signed up for summer school, packets are now ready for pick up anytime from the RES foyer/entryway. These will need to be picked up before Monday, July 6th. *Kindergarten and preschool registration will continue all summer long with registration packets located in the RES foyer and a drop bin for completed packets also in the foyer. The foyer is open anytime for this to take place. *The RES and HS offices are closed now for the summer. They will reopen on July 27th. *Chester thinks it is going to be hot for a while.
